Teaching

As a design educator, I seek to engage students in primary research, both visual and scholarly. My teaching portfolio encompasses advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in graphic design studios and design history, with an emphasis on engaging process in typography, image-making, and graphic design history. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, I prioritize opportunities to discover and cultivate students’ priorities as researchers and practitioners. By co-creating individualized educational experiences with my students, I expand my own sense of how visual culture can play an integral role in cultural conversations.
